Bali's most famous and crowded beach. Great for beginner surfers with consistent waves. The beach itself has brown sand and can be quite dirty. Surrounded by shops, bars, and restaurants. Intense hawker activity. Sunset views are spectacular despite the crowds. Best avoided if seeking tranquility.
