Thailand's most notorious beach resort. The main beach has been restored but water quality remains poor. Famous for its nightlife and Walking Street. Good water sports facilities. Very commercialized and crowded. Better suited for nightlife seekers than beach lovers. Family-friendly by day, party central by night.
Jomtien Beach
A quieter alternative to Pattaya Beach, more family-oriented. Popular with Russian and Chinese tourists. Good facilities for water sports. The beach is wider and cleaner than Pattaya Beach. Many beachfront restaurants and hotels. Weekend market is excellent. Better water quality than central Pattaya.
